Family "Crap" Night

Several years ago my mom started a tradition of our family sitting down together at Christmas and making some sort of craft decoration together. The first several years they were ornaments for a themed tree, they all bring a smile to my face when I get them out of the box each year. The one with stick figures of Jeff and I drawn on it in glitter glue, which I splattered ALL over the living room, and there is still evidence of on my parents fire place. The sparkley star candle holders that make a huge mess, but are so beautiful.

The past two years we have made "stockings" last year we decorated red and green beach buckets, but this year, my mom had us decorate "bags" made out of stiff felt material. The bottom and sides had been connected, but it was up to us to decorate and then whip stitch them together up the sides, it was a lot of fun! So much fun in fact, on collage wouldn't cover it, there's two! :)

OH! And family CRAFT night, was affectionately renamed to family crap night several years ago by Jeff, and well its kind of stuck.
